The attacker also spoke to former team-mate Ben Foster and was happy to be the butt of the joke after missing a penalty in a 2-0 defeat to Accrington in Wrexham's last outing in League Two.</p><p>"I'm surprised I got that reception (Super Paul Mullin chant) after Saturday! <p>Mullin has become a key player for Wrexham since signing for the Welsh side in 2021 on a three-year deal. He scored 38 goals last season and played a crucial role in the team's promotion from the National League into League Two. Mullin's current campaign has been disrupted by injury and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/paul-mullin-message-to-team-mates-wrexham-beat-gillingham-without-suspended-striker/blt47e6d9e2455e15b1" target="_blank">suspension</a> but he has still scored four goals in 11 league appearances for the Red Dragons.</p>
