Just over a third of the fixtures have been completed, but there is scope for another tight relegation battle with plenty of twists and turns to come.

Rotherham stayed up last season despite being fancied to make a swift return to the third tier, but the Millers are prominent in this term's relegation betting alongside fellow Yorkshire clubs Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday.
Wednesday have made the slowest start, picking up just six points from their opening 16 matches.
Rotherham remain at the head of the market
Rotherham silenced the doubters last season, ending their status as a yo-yo club thanks to a 19th-place finish.
However, they were chalked up among the relegation favourites for the 2023-24 campaign and started the season unconvincingly, claiming just 11 points from their opening 16 matches.
Key players have departed the New York Stadium this summer, but Rotherham owner Tony Stewart was expecting better results and his patience ran out after the 5-0 loss away to Watford.
Matt Taylor’s 13-month spell as Rotherham head coach came to an end after the Vicarage Road trouncing, but a January refresh of the playing squad could be the Milllers’ best hope of survival.
Wednesday yet to make significant progress
Xisco Munoz was sacked by Sheffield Wednesday in early October but his replacement, Danny Rohl, has struggled to turn the team’s fortunes around.
By the 16-game mark the Owls had amassed just six points and were the lowest scorers in the Championship with just seven goals.
Rohl’s first head coaching assignment looks like a really tough task with problems mounting on and off the field.
Wednesday supporters have become disillusioned and much of their anger has been targeted towards Owls’ owner Dejphon Chansiri, who has spoken of not putting any more money into the club.
R's hoping for change under Cifuentes
QPR had a tough time in the second half of last season and alarm bells were ringing when they started the 2023-24 campaign with a 4-0 loss at Watford.
Results failed to pick up and a managerial change was made last month with Marti Cifuentes replacing Gareth Ainsworth in the dugout.
Cifuentes got off to a reasonable start, guiding the Hoops to draws away to Rotherham (1-1) and at home to Bristol City (0-0) but he has a lot of tough work ahead as he plots to lift the Londoners away from the danger zone.
Terriers and Sky Blues on the slide
A managerial change doesn’t seem to have done much for Huddersfield, who took just seven points from their first nine games under Darren Moore.
The Terriers look set for another season of scrapping for survival and they could be joined in the relegation battle by Coventry, who have tumbled down the standings after no wins in six.
